My Values & Priorities for Salt Lake County
-
I want to hear from each of you! Please schedule a time to meet with me, so we can discuss what you want to see happen at our County Council and how I can best serve you. Your feedback is important to me.
-
I pledge to maintain fiscal responsibility with our County budget and respect taxpayer dollars. To prioritize efficient and thoughtful investments that bring the most value to our community. To listen to County Council District 1 residents and prioritize their needs.
-
County government works best when we coordinate with both private and public partners, especially each of our local cities. We need to coordinate with everyone we can to find innovative solutions to the complex issues that face our community.
-
County Council District 1 has both the lowest voter turnout of any Council District and the most Democratic voters. Increasing turnout in District 1 by just a few percentage points would have made Democrats win two more countywide races last year. I am the only candidate with the experience and expertise to make that happen.
